Are you a woman working in sports administration and ready to take the next step into leadership?
Her Turn invites aspiring female sports leaders from across the European Union to apply for a unique international leadership and mentorship programme designed to strengthen women’s role in sports management and decision-making.
The programme addresses the persistent gender imbalance in sports leadership and aims to empower women with the tools, networks, and mindset needed to advance into decision-making roles within sports organisations.

What the programme offers
Selected participants will take part in a structured development programme between April-November 2026 that includes:
- Two international, in-person sessions:
- April 23-24, 2026 session in Tallinn, Estonia
- September 17-18, 2026 session in Helsinki, Finland
- Expert-led training sessions on leadership, strategy, communication, branding, and gender equality in sport
- Individual personal development planning
- Mentorship by experienced leaders in sports administration (2 mentoring sessions online)
- Peer learning and team-based sessions
- Networking with professionals from across Europe
- Alumni network
Who can apply
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Age: 18–40
- Gender: Female
- Location: EU Member States (27) or associated countries (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Serbia, North Macedonia, Türkiye)
- Professional background:
- Currently active in sports associations, federations, clubs, NGOs, or other sports-related organisations
- Experience at local, national, or international level
- Fluent in English
- Availability: Available to participate in the full programme from April to November, 2026 (including online activities and in-person international sessions)
Selection limit: Maximum number of participants 25

What costs are covered
The project covers:
- Accommodation and lodging during international seminars
- Travel costs, reimbursed after participation:
- Based on the most affordable travel option
- Reimbursement follows Erasmus+ distance calculator limits
- Travel reimbursement up to 250 euros per participant, any costs exceeding the limit must be covered by the participant
⚠️ Reimbursement is made after attendance in the international seminars in person.
